About Me

My name is Alan, thanks for coming to Agentic Flow.

A little about me – I am from New Zealand originally, half Taiwanese and half Kiwi. I moved to Australia back in 2012. In my professional career I have been supporting young people and families for over 13 years. In my spare time I love to catch up with friends, bodyboard, play squash, cook, watch Tiny Homes (hope to have my own soon), and play guitar.

As I have worked in the community sector for many years, I have held roles from adult mental health, youth mentoring and case management to facilitation of youth and parenting programs. Academically I completed a Bachelor of Social Sciences Majoring in Psychology, a Graduate Diploma of Teaching in Primary School, and a Master of Counselling.

For me, the greatest learning in life has been experiencing life itself, growing, reflecting, and healing as I weave in aspects of the things I learnt at University and beyond. I take responsibility to do the ‘deep work’ and only practice what I preach otherwise I am just pretending. I am also passionate about supporting young people and parents on their journey of growing self-awareness, having better relationships, and overall happiness in life. I feel a calling to support people to experience their Agentic Flow.
